On the 10BASE-T1S preamble for multidrop

Abstract

The task force (TF) 802.3cg of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) has extensively worked on proposing an appropriate preamble for its short-reach PHY, 10BASE-T1S. Present work is to analyze their methods, their findings and propose alternative preambles, to serve as a basis for future research of this group.
