Abstract

A combined fiber loop mirror and ring configurations are used to enhance generated stimulated Brillouin scattering in optical fibers. Large number of higher-order Stokes is generated. It is possible to generate five flat CW wavelengths with flatness better than 0.5 dB and wavelength separation 0.088 nm as part of generated Stokes wavelengths.
