By reasonably arranging RFID tags and RFID readers in job-shop, the production information of the job-shop can be obtained in a timely and accurate manner. Then, the machining capabilities of the machines in the jobshop are calculated through a machine evaluation model, the results of which is considered as the input of the next job-shop scheduling model. An improved ant colony algorithm (ACA) is employed to solve it. Abstract
