Abstract

SPICE based circuit simulation is one of the most important parts of IC design flow. The original SPICE algorithm is very slow and most of EDA companies use different approaches to make simulation faster. Most of these approaches work so that simulator works much faster but obtained solution is less accurate. This is why it is so important to develop new algorithms for transistor level IC simulation speed up with saving of SPICE accuracy. This work reports on attempt to accelerate simulation without accuracy loss.
