Abstract

Due to the rise in world energy use and scarcity of non-renewable energy sources, solar energy use has seen a surge in demand over the past ten years. But sporadic nature of solar energy resources leads requirement of energy storage device. So, main issues related to such system are voltage stability during discharging and charging mode of the battery. And maximum power extraction from the PV panel. Both issues have been addressed here. A MPPT control algorithm and control action to stabilize the load voltage has been discussed in this article. Proposed system gives efficient and stable operation. And result has been simulated by using MATLAB Simulink.
