Abstract

—The Rice frequency that is considered as a unique characteristic of the amplifier–filter and defined by the cutoff frequencies is the basic parameter of a new technique intended for reconstructing noise distributions. Examples of application of the technique for optimizing the operating mode of multiwire pro(cid:2) portional chambers and drift straw tubes are presented.
