Abstract
Water is a natural resource of great importance in Peru, since in addition to being used for human consumption, it has a fundamental role in agriculture and cattle raising. This paper proposes a design for a functional cyber-physical system that allows for the collection and storage of samples of water from strategic points in a river to analyze whether the contaminants are within the permitted limits. This system is based on the Internet of Things technology, which will facilitate the storage and transmission of the collected data. If agents that present a high probability of contamination are detected, an alarm will be triggered and the sample will be flagged so that the river water can be monitored in real time. The design of the system was developed using the attribute-based design methodology. Therefore, the software architecture allows for the establishment of a successful connection with a physical system and the transmission of data between these two systems.
