Artificial intelligence in choosing travel routes or searching for the correct item to buy on an e-commerce platform is popular with postgraduate students. The paper delves into aspects related to students' technology readiness, and awareness about the artificial intelligence (AI) services in financial services impacts their intention to use AI in financial investment decisions. Specific aspects of the study include an optimistic view towards technology, an innovative approach towards technology, technological uneasiness, and a lack of trust in technology and its influence on using AI tools to make investment decisions. The study was done on postgraduate students who had work experience in the fintech domain. Results indicate an optimistic view towards technology, and awareness positively influence their intention to use financial robots / AI tools while taking investment decisions and technological uneasiness. Lack of trust in technology has a negative influence.
