The wireless transceiver is employed to control the robot and to transmit wireless video signal captured by the camera. This robot overcomes the design limitations of certain other prototypes. The robot could be used for inspection, surveillance and could provide information in hostage situations. Abstract

This paper presents the wirelessly operated semi-independent wall climbing robot, capable of climbing vertical surfaces and ceilings.
