Research on risk analysis and countermeasures of ship pollution in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area

Abstract

On February 18th 2019, “Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area” issued, and “clean development of shipping” is one of the important contents. Since the rapid development of waterway transportation in Greater Bay Area, the risk of pollution caused by ships and related operations is increasing. In order to ensure the implementation of the requirements of the state, industry and the “planning outline”, this study analyzed the risk of ship pollution in Greater Bay Area, summarized the current status and put forward countermeasures for pollution prevention and control.
