The model only needs four PV module parameters given by the manufacturer, namely open circuit voltage $({\\mathrm V_{oc}})$, short circuit current $({\\mathrm I}_{{\\mathrm sc}})$, peak voltage $({\\mathrm V}_{{\\mathrm M}})$and peak current $({\\mathrm I}_{{\\mathrm M}})$, which can accurately simulate the I-V output characteristic curve and P-V output characteristic curve of the module under different ambient temperature and light intensity. The simulation output characteristic curve is compared with the image given in the manufacturer’s data manual to verify the correctness of the model. The influence of series resistance Rs on the output characteristics of the PV module is also studied. The results show that even a small series resistance Rs has a great influence on the output characteristics.
