Abstract
This paper presents new sensorless rotor position detection in a two phase Switched Reluctance Generators (SRG) by applying the DSP technique. This Method, it's possible to assess the placement of rotor of switched reluctance motors senselessly with amplitude modulation by field assisted in static position and in Motion. The proposed method is based on the dependency of the phase current slope that achieve from AM with DSP technique. These estimators may be utilized to remove sensors for cost reduction as well as back up virtual sensors in a fault resilient drive. The validation results show the effectiveness of the proposed estimators.
