The dc bus voltage is controlled by estimating the inductor current reference in boost mode of bi-directional dc-dc converter using the input voltage, output voltage, and output power. The battery is charged by constant current (CC) and constant voltage (CV) control methods. The main control objectives are: 1) regulation of the dc bus voltage at a reference value by supplying the power to the dc bus from the battery, 2) discharging the battery using current control, and 3) charge the battery with CC and CV from the dc bus. Abstract
