Abstract

On the basis of research on characteristics of downlink channel of tactical UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) and the influence of CP to system performance, an improved adoptive CP-OFDM is introduced to overcome the decline of bit rate and waste of power efficiency caused by traditional CP-fixed OFDM when applied to tactical UAV downlink transmission. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that, the method reduces the power loss of 0.5dB 1dB compared with CP-fixed OFDM, 0dB 0.5dB compared with original adoptive CP-OFDM, the method improves the transmission rate of 0~25% compared with CP-fixed OFDM, the improvement is 0~10% higher than original adoptive CP-OFDM.
