Abstract

Designing, building, and testing are integral parts of an engineering degree program. Engineers are problem solvers and innovators who develop solutions for technical, societal, and commercial problems. Undergraduate engineering degree programs are the training ground to produce future engineers with appropriate knowledge and skills. This paper describes a process to incorporate major design experiences that prepares students for professional engineering practices.
