Several laboratory devices are described ranging from Marx circuits to Type-A Guillemin lines. Since CDL capacitors are inherently low-voltage devices with modest equivalent series resistance (ESR), restrictions exist on operating voltages, allowable ESR, pulser impedance and the absolute value of the capacitors.
