Enquiry into correlation of winding capacitance and SFRA measurements in power transformers

Abstract

SFRA measurements of transformers have been explored for assessment of condition of insulation. The main diagnostic parameters associated with transformer insulation are the winding capacitances and dissipation factor. This paper explores the correlation of winding capacitance measurements and the capacitance values estimated from SFRA measurements in power transformers.
