Abstract

The authors have been studying the use of a noncontact hybrid brake that combines an eddy current brake and a magneto-rheological fluid brake as the next generation brake for aircraft. In this paper, we investigated shear stress when the temperature around the rotating rod was changed to 300 degree and the magnetic flux density was changed to 1.26 Tesla. As a result of the experiment, it was found that a V-Co-Fe magneto-rheological fluid was suitable for aircraft because shear stress did not increase or decrease rapidly due to temperature change even under high temperature and high magnetic field conditions.
高温强磁场下飞机用圆柱形磁流变液制动器剪切应力的研究
