Generalized formula for optimal distribution of current vector, by means of exploiting the torque generation capability, is developed, which takes into account the effects of magnetic losses within the controller. Modeling of iron losses is done by considering the classical approach of inserting active resistance in parallel with the magnetizing branch of induction machine equivalent circuit. Abstract
In this paper, novel minimum ampere per torque strategy of induction machine drive including iron loss phenomena is presented.
