Abstract

When conducting reliability analysis of actual engineering cases, it is important to fully consider the life-related aspects of components. This paper proposes a new method, using survival signature and copulas, for the reliability analysis of complex systems with correlated component life. Here, the survival signature is extended to related cases, and a reliability model is established by combining copulas. The effectiveness and versatility of the proposed method are verified through a numerical example.
