Abstract

As everybody knows, vibrations and mechanical shocks can affect a number of things not in a good way. It is very easy to sense these vibrations and mechanical shocks using a piezoelectric sensor. This kind of sensor generates usually a voltage, which can be measured and monitored. In this paper, a system of data acquisition, processing and transmission was developed based on the Arduino Mega 2560 development board together with the Arduino programming environment.
