Abstract

For 50 years, scientists around the world have been searching for the relationship between the mass of atoms and the properties of elements, until the Russian scientist D.I. Mendeleev, having created the Periodic Table and formulated the Periodic Law, did complete this search. The discoveries of new chemical elements predicted by D.I. Mendeleev had soon followed and confirmed the fundamental importance of his Periodic law as the basic law of natural sciences.
