Abstract

It is proposed to modify eddy current method of diagnostics based on applying sub-miniaturized eddy current sensors with localization of a controlled surface area of the material to 50 mkm 2. The measurement results for model composition material which represent alternating conductive and dielectric layers of AlHDPE-Al are shown. Defects in the structure were set by variations in the number and order of alternating layers. The prospects of the proposed approach and implementing it with a measuring device in a process of fault detection of composite materials on aluminum alloys are described.
