Abstract

Open Social Learning is an emerging research area that deals with leveraging open access to the learning content on the web and enabling social networking amongst the learners and mentors to make the learning experience efficient. This paper aims to capture the current direction of research carried out in the area of open social learning. Several published research work were reviewed in the field of Social Learning and Collective Intelligence. This paper intends to address the following three goals.
