Abstract

Abstract:The Indigènes de la République was established in France in 2005 as a political voice for minorities who trace their heritage from French colonial history. Their members have garnered attention in the French ethnic and anti-racist scene by virtue of their intellectual ambitions and the international alliances they forge, as well as their controversial views on Jews, Israel, and Zionism. This article focuses on the content of their public declarations about Jews and Israel from 2005 to 2020, which were made largely in response to terrorist attacks such as the murders at the Jewish school in Toulouse in 2012 and those at the Hyper Cacher grocery store in 2015.
Houria Bouteldja
