Does Femoral Morphology Impact on Leg-Length Discrepancy when using Short Stem Cementless Total Hip Arthroplasty?

Abstract

Introduction: Femoral morphology can have significant impact on leg-length discrepancy (LLD) when using conventional cementless stems in Dorrs type A. The impact when using short stem is not well known, therefore, this study aimed to analyze the difference in LLD between Dorr’s type A&B femurs, and to define the risk factors for significant LLD in short stems.
