The research method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method. The population in this study were all VIII grade learners in one of junior high schools in Bandung district with a sample of learners in class VIII-H as an experimental class and class VIII-J as a control class. The instruments used is a mathematical analysis ability test. Abstract

The problem behind this research is the low mathematical analysis ability of learners in mathematics learning. One alternative learning that can be applied to improve learners mathematical analysis ability is the Group Investigation Model.
