Abstract

This paper presents an efficient way to detect conflict in composed systems controlled by local supervisors designed using the supervisory control theory of discrete event systems. The idea is to apply the required modularity test not over the languages implemented by the supervisors, but over abstractions of the supervisors with some specific characteristics.
