Abstract
This paper shows an instrument that uses electronic technology to characterize the effects of the diabetes in tissues, by measuring changes in the skin impedance on the sole. The bioimpedance system generates a signal at different frequencies and supplies it to the tissue via electrodes. This system uses the 3 electrodes technique: the first electrode where the generator signal wave at different frequencies is supplied, the second electrode receives the supplied signal with the modulation of the skin and the third electrode is the reference. Bioimpedance system 149 generates sinusoidal signals at different frequencies ranging from 10 Hz to 22 kHz and a amplitude current below the of perception of the human body. This signal is placed on the first electrode on the sole. With the meter bioimpedance can be characterized tissue impedance of the sole of healthy people with diabetes problems, Directory to locate differences that help to monitor the status of the foot in people with diabetes and prevent some complications of this disease.
