Analiza izazova i definisanje preporuka za uspješnu implementaciju 5G mreža

Abstract

As a cohesive platform for innovative applications that adapts to specific user requirements, 5G networks have an important role in the overall development of the economy and society, representing a cornerstone segment of the overall digital transformation. Taking into consideration architecture characteristics of the 5G systems, their functionalities, as well as the components of the associated eco-system, it is clear that their effective implementation depends on a number of factors that may be limitations, if not identified properly and in a timely manner. As the region of Western Balkans is lacking behind the rest of Europe when deployment of 5G is considered, this paper aims at identifying challenges that might have an impact on that process and on that basis, recommendations and suggestions for further actions of different relevant stakeholders, are presented.
