The Personality and Activity of Angelė Vyšniauskaitė, the Researcher of the Lithuanian Rural Family

Abstract

The article analyses the personality and public activity of ethnologist Angelė Vysniauskaitė (1919–2006), the prominent researcher of Lithuanian rural family. Based on biographic method of a person’s life, this article focuses on the influence of A. Vysniauskaitė’s personality and the social environment on professor’s public activity.
