IOT is merging with other advance technology such as cloud computing for storage, machine learning on artificial intelligence for data handling and analysis, block chain technology for security to data transmission and big data for large volume of data. We discuss the smart hardware for smart factory, which have more advance features like communication without interruption, security of data, easily communication between human and machine, connectivity between hardware and software and easily accessibility. The paper presents, benefits with limitations and challenges with objectives of IIOT 4.0 for smart hardware development under industry 4.0.
