Abstract
We review our recent progress on the all-optical signal processing technologies using the nonlinear bidirectional semiconductor optical amplifier (NB-SOA) unit, enabling the functions of the optical phase conjugation (OPC) conversion and the phase-preserving amplitude regeneration for QPSK signals at the same time.
