CATEGORIES OF PRAGMATIC ALGORITHM AND ARCHOFUNCTION

Abstract

The article analyzes the current practice of mass housing construction. The structure of the existing design algorithm is revealed. The characteristics of a typical design algorithm are determined, the application of which generates the uniformity of space-planning solutions and primitivization of architectural values. Examples of various architectural projects that actualize the concept of archofunction are considered. Archofunction appears as a trigger for a creative design approach. The main directions of further research are indicated.
