This study uses qualitative research with data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation studies. The results of the study show that (1) the emergence of mutual respect for one another, namely the tolerant attitude of fellow students and students and teachers. Moderation developed at Muhammadiyah 8 Kisaran High School has implications for mutual respect and tolerance (2) There is an ability possessed by students to receive and reject information that leads to extremism-fundamentalism and exclusivism in schools. Abstract

Important to strengthen religious moderation in students, as a manifestation of the National Mental Revolution Movement which is embodied in Strengthening Character Education as mandated by Permendikbud Number 20 of 2018, including religious character and nationalism. 高中学生的宗教节制
