Abstract
In order to overcome the defects of centralized management and transaction methods while protecting user privacy and information security at the same time, blockchain technology, which is believed to have great impact on the in-depth study of the future virtual power plant resilience development and sharing concepts, is introduced into virtual power plants. Introducing blockchain in distributed energy transactions combined with demand response can further reduce costs and transaction times. However, the application of blockchain technology cannot take into account decentralization, scalability, and security at the same time in large-scale virtual power plant transactions. It will also be subject to physical limitations. In response to the above problems, optimization and research plans are proposed. Among these solutions, the direction of artificial intelligence has attracted much attention, and it is foreseeable that the future research direction of blockchain technology in the field of virtual power plants will be more closely combined with artificial intelligence technology.
