Discourse Analysis Model for Literary Works Appreciation and Evaluation by Regressive Analysis

Abstract

The discourse analysis model is applied in literary works reading, based on the theory of critical discourse analysis. Strategies of guessing predetermined information and distinguishing facts and opinions are adopted to help readers integrating text information, to achieve the goals of building their own cognitive scripts, and improving appreciation of literary works. The effect of this model is evaluated by regressive analysis.
