Abstract

When facilities switch from solvents to aqueous solutions for parts cleaning, it can spell trouble for POTWs, which often must bear the brunt of increased—and increasingly polluted—wastewater discharges from these facilities. But by working cooperatively with other stakeholders, the threats to POTWs can be minimized, as this article shows.
