The potential problems solved by the retrofitted VersaPac replacement include preventing contaminant tracking between the conductor and ground, allowing easy winding reconnect, and eliminating repeated purchase of VersaPac kits and extended lead times. This particular design has been installed and incorporated into several multi-thousand-horsepower motors in a variety of applications.
