This study explores how blockchain technologies using Ethereum can assist in increasing speed and level of availability of needed materials and services that may be required during or in the aftermath of disasters for rescue and recovery. The federated blockchain model also provides financial transactions securely and transparently by incorporating a donation mechanism for fund payment, monetary compensation or incentivization through the use of tokens and other digital assets to the materials and service providers.
