Sixty-four male albino rats of an average weight of 120–150 g were included in this study. Rats were divided into 8 equal groups of 8. The results showed that treatment with LPS/CCl4caused in a significant increase in serum urea, creatinine as well as uric acid. The use of honey (25 mg/kg b.wt.) and BV (1 mg/kg b.wt.) attenuates to LPS and CCl4 induced renal dysfunction was demonstrated.
