Abstract
The COVID-19 disease known since December 2019 has been declared a pandemic. COVID-19 patients with diabetes may be at increased risk of morbidity and mortality during acute infection due to suppression of innate immune and humoral function in diabetes. The increasing prevalence of comorbidities in COVID-19 patients with diabetes has been described in various studies. Nursing students and nurses are at the forefront of increasing knowledge in diabetic patients during the covid 19 pandemic. The method of activity is lectures and discussions. The activity was carried out through a virtual meeting with the zoom application on May 21, 2020. The results of the activity went smoothly, followed by 1127 zoominar participants. The participants in the activity were nurses and nursing students. The conclusion was that there was an increase in participants' knowledge about the management of covid 10 in diabetes. Increasing the knowledge of nurses and nursing students about the management of covid-19 in diabetes is expected to increase efforts to prevent the transmission of covid 19 in diabetic patients.
