Abstract

Acute intestinal intussusception is the leading cause of surgical emergencies in the pediatric population worldwide, especially in children under 3 years of age. This picture occurs when a segment of the intestine invaginates in the lower segment of the intestinal wall, the etiology in 90% of cases is unknown or idiopathic
