Abstract

In the extremely competition of hotel industry in the 21th century, revenues are driven by customer satisfaction and brand loyalty. The challenge of reduced operating costs and increasing sales volume while increasing customer's satisfaction is the new stimulant for doing budget hotel business. Beginning of the 21st century, cloud computing is probably the best solution available for the budget hotel industry in term of economic benefits. Cloud solution is ideal for a small or limited service hotel. Cloud services are faster and more efficient which improves customer service by decreasing waiting times and providing a more personalized service on arrival. Cloud systems decrease the cost of entry to hotels and provide an extended arm of computer power which makes the service unilaterally accessible and can be summarized through these primary benefits. This research deliberated on how the cloud computing technology reform the budget hotel chains for doing business by used a case study of Thailand budget hotel chains. Qualitative analysis was conducted through 24 hotel branches. The results of the fact findings were proposed the integrated cloud computing model for budget hotel management to optimize operating costs, increasing process efficiency, and increasing customer satisfaction.
