Abstract

Due to the explosive growth of data volume, the inherently limited storage capacity of mobile devices is difficult to meet current application requirements, and improving storage capacity by adding hardware is costly. Mobile edge cloud composed of several mobile devices can greatly expand storage capacity and attracts widespread attention. This paper studies the problem of cooperative storage for mobile edge cloud under unstable communication conditions. Firstly, we model the energy consumption of the cooperative storage process. Secondly, an energy-efficient cooperative storage scheduling algorithm is designed to minimize storage energy consumption under unstable communication conditions. Finally, comparison experiments show the superiority of the proposed algorithm over the other two existing strategies.
