Unraveling the Mystery Surrounding the Origins of Taijiquan by New Historical Materials in Tang Village, China

Abstract

In this paper the recently recovered records of the Li family are discussed. These records answer many questions surrounding the start of taijiquan. This corrects many prior assumptions, and the documents reveal new insights into how various certain martial arts originally developed.
