The performance of the proposed method was evaluated by measuring the network and application throughput, round-trip time, efficiency and utilisation. The results presents that the proposed hybrid optimisation was able to reduce bandwidth utilisation at 53% over the congested link. Abstract

One of the solutions to overcome the network congestion issue over the WAN is to deploy QoS.
