In this context, this paper proposes a sensitivity analysis method for the parameters of renewable energy accommodation, which comprehensively considers the load rate, the reserve rate, the conventional unit peak shaving rate, and the renewable energy penetration rate. Firstly, the mechanism of renewable energy accommodation is analyzed. Moreover, the mathematical model of the sensitivity of the accommodation capacity to each parameter is established, revealing the influence of each parameter on the sensitivity. Finally, the validity of the proposed method is verified by a case study using field data. Abstract

Renewable energy has been growing rapidly inspired by the goal of "emission peak and carbon neutrality" in China. However, the phenomena of wind and solar power curtailment still exist, so the issue of renewable energy accommodation has attracted extensive attention. In this context, this paper proposes a sensitivity analysis method for the parameters of renewable energy accommodation, which comprehensively considers the load rate, the reserve rate, the conventional unit peak shaving rate, and the renewable energy penetration rate.
