Abstract
Spinoza is among the most systematic philosophers of modern philosophy with his holistic philosophy style. His works play an important role in defining, explaining and solving many problems even today. Its holistic philosophy has led to the intertwining of its systematic fields. Therefore, in his system, ontology and epistemology, ethics and politics, metaphysics and religion are intertwined. In his system, there is an ontological integrity between the metaphysical field and the physical field. Therefore, while talking about the multiplicity of beings belonging to this world in terms of discourse, he reveals the idea of being single on the same ontological ground. According to Spinoza, knowing knows that the moduses that have come into existence by divine necessity are aspects of Being, which has no essence other than Being. The types of knowledge, which are also expressed as perception styles, are based on an ontological basis. In our article, the ontological foundations of Spinoza's epistemology, which is intertwined in all his philosophy and explained in a systematic way, will be explained. In this respect, our study will present an onto-epistomological evaluation. It will be stated that his thoughts on knowledge cannot be comprehended without understanding his ontology.
