Abstract

Relevance to increase jet fuel production in the Russian Federation has been shown. Methods of jet fuel treatment from mercaptans have been analyzed, disadvantages of these methods have been reviewed. Implementation and numerous modernizations of hydrodemercaptanization process diagram at Slavneft-YANOS PJSC are described. During the 20 years of operation, the process itself and the process flow diagram have been brought to perfection, all the “pitfalls” of the process have been revealed, ways to eliminate them have been found. By virtue of the use of the optimal diagram of the hydrodemercaptanization process, Slavneft-YANOS PJSC in 2018 becameand still remains the leader in jet fuel production.
